ABOUT US

I'm a stay at home mom who is disabled who loves to read. I've been a reader since the time my dad sat me on his lap and taught me how to read at a young age. I hope to write a book one day and I have a few drafts going, but for now I am happy to blog about all the wonderful books that I am reading. Last year, I read 132 books and I want to share the joy I get from these books and the efforts these wonderful have put forth in getting these stories to us.

Beyond that, I have five kids-four daughters and one son. Each one has a various disability from autoimmune disease, Type 1 Diabetes, Deaf, two with Autism and one has Down syndrome in conjunction with the Autism. So needless to say, they keep me on my toes, but I love them dearly. 

Before Psoriatic Arthritis disabled me, I was a nurse and before that a police officer. I'm hoping to finish my Master's degree and teach at some point, but we'll see what life has in store for me. 

As for my name, my first name is after the Rowan tree which some know can be known as a the Tree of Life. My last name Creech is Scottish and means hill. So, I can be Rowan Tree Hill. LOL! In actuality, I am Native American and Scottish and I am very proud of both of my ancestries.
